How it started

One night changed the plan.

Vinnie started DJing in 2012, playing for friends and small parties around Massachusetts. The first wedding came shortly after, and it changed the scale of everything: suddenly the job was not only choosing songs, it was holding a room together for five hours.

From there he kept taking on bigger rooms. Twenty guests in a backyard, a thousand in a ballroom, and every size in between. Each one taught the same lesson from a different angle: the equipment gets you in the door, the reading keeps the floor full.

How we work

Four things that do not change.

We read the room.

No fixed setlist. The night is built live from how the floor responds, which is the part no equipment list can promise you.

Bilingual by default.

Portuguese and English in the same night, without the energy dropping when the room switches language. For mixed families this is usually the difference.

One team, one standard.

Sound, lighting, LED and structure come from us. Nothing is subcontracted, so there is nobody to coordinate and nobody to blame on event day.

Straight answers.

What is included is written down. If something will not work in your venue, you hear it before the contract, not after the deposit.

Best Brazilian DJ in the USA

Melhor do Brasil nos EUA was created to recognize Brazilian professionals working across the country. In 2021 Vinnie was one of the finalists in the DJ category, and the photo above is from that night.

Being a finalist did not change how the nights run. It confirmed a way of working that had been in place since 2012: arrive early, understand the room before the first song, and let the music follow the people in it.

Giving the Glam has also publicly recognized him as a longtime event partner, highlighting his DJ, LED and event production support, including preparations for an event at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art.

Behind the production

Most of the work happens before anyone arrives.

Truss goes up, cables get run, every fixture is aimed and tested. By the time the first guest walks in, the room is already finished.

No rentals. No surprises on event day.

Everything below is ours, maintained by us and loaded from our own warehouse in West Boylston. When a venue changes the plan at the last minute, we are not waiting on a third party to answer the phone.
